As a result of the 2022 Shepparton floods, this customer’s property was unfortunately impacted. They had to demolish their house, which meant they needed somewhere temporary to stay while the rebuilding was occurring. They chose to reside in a caravan on their property, using the existing shed that survived the flood as extra living space. However, this meant they no longer had a storage space or a covered area to park their cars in the meantime. Looking for a suitable solution, they visited the All Sheds website and viewed our range before submitting a website inquiry.
The customer’s initial inquiry was for a basic carport that measured 13m x 6m with a 12° roof pitch, as it would provide exactly the space they needed. After submitting the initial inquiry, the All Sheds team sent the customer a preliminary quote for review. At this point, the customer decided to make some revisions to the shape and size provided in the initial inquiry. The final shed was a 12.6m x 6m gable roof premium carport with a 12.5° pitch roof, including a 600mm overhang to allow the carport to butt up to the existing shed and run in line. Since the carport was adjoining the existing shed, the customer wanted to keep the colours consistent and chose to clad their new carport in Colorbond Woodland Grey, also including a personal access door for easy entry and exit.
With the construction of the new carport complete, the customer now has that extra covered space on their property that was much needed while they wait for the rebuild of their house to be completed.
